Chidi Koldsweat is the Founder, Donors for Africa Foundation, where she works actively with Governments, funding institutions, the private sector, NGO’s and social impact leaders to break cycles of poverty by addressing the global challenges we face in Africa.
Donors for Africa (DFA) has raised over $30M in direct and indirect funding, trained over 1000+ nonprofits, and reaches over 29,000 unique accounts weekly via their social media platforms. Donors For Africa has launched the premiere digital Social Innovators Bootcamp in Africa, an annual leadership accelerator program targeted at equipping and developing third sector leaders with technical expertise. Recently Chidi was drafted into the African Youth Front on COVID-19 launched by the African Union (AU) Office of the Youth Envoy and the Africa Center for Disease Control & Prevention (Africa CDC).
She was recently featured on NBC, CBS & FOX News, and has received numerous awards and recognition, one of which is the Social Media for Social Good Awards, 2020. She continues to focus on creating long-term solutions that improve the life of Africans by strengthening the capacity of nonprofit leaders and donors’ lives at the grassroots, through policy formulation, strategy, and implementation.
