Babajide Oluwase
Babajide Oluwase has over six years’ experience working at the intersection of urban planning, business, and deployment of clean-tech solutions. He is the Founder/CEO of Ecotutu Limited, a company on a mission to make cooling affordable and accessible to everyone that needs it. In this capacity, he coordinates the company’s strategy formulation and oversees everything that relates to operations, including revenue and growth.
With a mini-MBA from Lagos Business School and a B.Tech (Hons) in Urban and Regional Planning from Federal University of Technology Akure, Babajide has worked with cross-cultural teams across the globe to proffer sustainable solutions to social problems, and was featured in DW #DoingYourBit series for his clean-tech innovation.
Babajide is a Sustainable Solutions Africa 30 under 30 Fellow, Earth Charter Young Leader, TEF/GIZ Fellow, George Ayittey Platinum Prize Winner, LEAP Africa SIP Fellow, Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, Yunus and Youth Fellow to name a few. He has facilitated entrepreneurship development program for Earth Charter International, Engagement Global, Impact Hub Accra, Field of Skills and Dreams VTE, and the U.S Consulate, Lagos.
